Location 1: Beckenham Place Park
Beckenham Place Park is where the main setting for this trailer will be. Some positives of this locations is that it has isolated areas where there are open spaces and also small spaces an example of this is the trails that lead onto into the forest which will be locations for running scenes of our trailer. with low key lighting the location will be a stock location. The location is big so the idea of getting lost in a group of people is very possible, in addition to the location being big there also are different paths which lead of to different places which in our trailer could lead to the Antagonist.
Risk Assessement
Here in the entrance of the Park there is a slope where there is a possibility of someone slipping which could cause a minor or major injury so precautions have to be taken.
Here near the entrance of Beckenham park there is a road where vehicles pass by do there is a danger of when filming there being a car. So we will have to be alert when filming and not be on the road for long periods of times especially as we will be filming at night where is a high chance of the driver not seeing us so it would be advised to have one person wearing a safety jacket to let people know that we are there and avoid a major accident occurring.
Here there is also another risk of slipping because of the slope and because of the weather on that specific day which could lead to major or minor injuries in addition to this the equipment we will be carrying could also get damaged which could lead to delaying filing our trailer.
Here there is a possibility risk of falling when takin these stairs as they have some what eroded and haven't got there full structure; this could result in a trip or fall which could again lead to minor or major injuries and also the weather could make the situation more dangerous.
Here there is a probable chance of this huge tree branch falling which would most certainly cause major injuries a precaution for this situation is to avoid this area completely the likeliness of this risk occurring is very high, the branch is definetly not secure i that position so the safest option is to avoid this area.
Here again there is a probable chance of this branch falling which could result in a major injury so the precaution that should be taken is to avoid standing too close to it and maybe just filming it for a texture shot not a scene with a protagonist or antagonist to help avoid injury.
Here there is another chance of there being a tripping hazard because of the stumps of trees and roots all of which will be harder to avoid at night so staying alert is precaution in addition we may need to track down the tripping hazards before to know where to avoid shooting.
Influences |
Cabin in the woods is what has inspired us to film in this location. the loneliness of the woods creates a stock scene for loosing people in group in addition its really hard for someone to hear you crying for help. The woods is a big location where you never know who is in there, there are also many ways for an antagonist to hide and attack. The woods connotes loneliness and the unknown.

Location 2: Avery Hill Park
Avery Hill Park is where we will film some of the scenes of our teaser trailer this location has areas where we can shoot from inside the forest(woods) and get a shot from the Protagonist through the eyes of the Antagonist. There is also fencing around the park which could symbolise being trapped not being able to get out which is the aim of our Antagonist.
Risk AssessmentHere there is possibility of this branch falling which may lead to an injury but moreover the result of the branch falling would create a tripping hazard especially as we will be filming at night; even if the branch doesn't fall at night we may not see the branch and walk into which would lead to a minor injury.
Again here there is a possibility of the branch falling which could lead to an minor/ major injury and also as we will be filming at night it won't be easy to see these fallen branches. even this is a health and safety risk it can also be used as a shot for our trailer as it shows distruction which could have been caused by the Antagonist.
Influences |
The disruption part of this trailer is what our teaser trailer may contain the wondering in the forest, the loss of direction and the confusion of the whereabouts of the antagonist. One of the differences of this trailer is that some scenes are filming in day light whereas ours will be filmed at night.
